Brain Health Boot Camp:Ā Kansas
LEAP! Brain Health Boot Camp: Kansas is a tailored version of our online Brain Health Boot Camp course, designed for adults in Kansas communities. We created this pilot program to encourage healthy lifestyle habits for Alzheimerās prevention while helping us test new ways to better support brain health in rural settings.
This 4-week course, developed by experts at the KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, includes Zoom lessons and bonus resources for improving brain health. We'll cover key lifestyle strategies across areas like like nutrition, exercise, and sleepĀ that may helpĀ reduce dementia risk.
Class recordings are available to those who register, so you'll be able to catch up on any session or sessions that you missed.

This course is suitable for participants of all ages who want to improve their brain health.
The strategiesĀ outlined in this course may help reduce dementia risk for those with normal cognition or mild cognitive impairment.
For those in early stages of dementia, these strategies may help slow cognitive decline.
